Do you have any tips for a first time con go-er? ^^ The way you describe it makes me extra excited to go, I'd love to meet other Spn fans as none of my fellow students like Spn at all. What's your fave con moment/memory?

Ahhhhh, first of all, I’m positive a convention is one of the greatest experience I’ve ever had. I’m not even sure I have a favorite moment because I loved every second of it. From the night I arrived and started going around the hotel to see where the photo op/autograph/panel rooms were, to the nights I spent not sleeping but talking to my new roommates because we were way too excited, to casually bumping into the actors while going to the toilet or to the hotel bar, to planning every minute of the day but then following a completely different schedule depending on how long the waiting lines were and still enjoying the queue with all those spn fans … so many memories and little details that I will probably never forget.
Last year was my first con and I went by myself, too. It was almost on the other side of my country, but nevertheless I took a flight and hey, I loved that moment too haha
As I was alone, I had found my roommates on the convention website; once I met up with them, they introduced me to other people (they all had already been to previous conventions) and I still remember that the night before the beginning of the convention, we all went out for a pizza. We had this one thing in common, the huge love for Supernatural, so it felt like we had been friends for ages.

My tip for a first time con go-er would be not to be shy (and I’m probably the shiest person I know) with the other fans, because you’re all there for the same reasons and passion(s). I literally spent 3/4 days talking about SPN/other tv shows only (heaven? yes) and I think that talking about something you love so much with unknown people who love the very same thing is the best way to bond.

If you’re planning to attend a convention, and none of your real life friends are coming with you, look for other con go-ers on the internet. But if you can’t find one or don’t trust this method, you’ll make friends there, 100% sure. Even during panels, you’ll be sitting next to someone and that someone can become your best friend for those 3 days :D

(((Ok maybe I lied and I do have favorite memories haha They may convince you to go to a con, so here they are:

1. when I got into the room for my Misha photo op (my very first photo op, btw), as soon as he saw me, he smiled (big big smile from ear to ear) and winked. He then put an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to his side;
2. on the first night of the con, many of us were at the hotel bar when suddenly we are joined by the actors (J2 excluded) and we spent hours talking to them and taking pictures and just having fun;
3. it happens (like all the time) that you’re wandering around, going from one room to the other, and then someone (to me, it was always Jensen or Misha idk why, fate lol) just BAM, opens a door and walks past you to go sign autographs or taking photos. You’ll never get used to it though, haha;
4. story of the group photo op in my profile picture: I was about to pass out when I entered the room and there they were, all chatting and big smiles. I took a step towards them, and I really thought I was going to faint when they looked at me at the same time (especially Misha, but I have a thing for him, so I guess I might be biased haha). I kindly asked “Could we have a group hug for the photo?” and Misha smiled, turned around and yelled at the others “GROUP HUG!!” and in less than 5 seconds I had arms everywhere omg. When I felt Misha’s chin on my shoulder, my smile got bigger haha Funny thing: I had no idea where to put my arms as I couldn’t move, so my right hand ended up on Sebastian’s crotch, as you may notice in the picture (I SWEAR IT WASN’T ON PURPOSE), and once the photo was taken, he started giggling and I went red … jesus, the embarrassment xD
5. the panels are just hilarious. I thought I was going to die during the Jensen/Misha one, I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face.

Yeah, I think these are my top 5 memories :D I hope this answer will help you <3 )))
